Effects of radio-frequency electromagnetic radiations (RF-EMR) on cerebral cortex of albino rats-a light and electron microscopic study


" Light microscopic findings of the present study showed that cellular size of neuronal cells in pyramidal layer of cerebral cortex, neurons of hippocampus and some granular layers in cerebral cortex of RF-EMR exposed rats decreased in compare to control groups. Individual cells could be seen with condensed cytoplasm and nucleus. Electron microscopic findings revealed individual shrunken cells with condensed cytoplasm and nucleus." {Credits 1}
