Effect of a 1800 MHz electromagnetic field emitted during embryogenesis on chick development and hatchability

Exposed chicks (during embryogenesis): Decreased duration of embryogenesis (earlier pipping and hatching of chicks, but no effects on the quantity and quality of chicks). Increased plasma corticosterone concentrations (mother). Decreased fat and glycogen in the liver (mother).

Exposed chicks embryos: Decreased relative heart weight and right ventricle wall thickness.
