The Effect of Extremely Low Frequency Alternating Magnetic Field on the Behavior of Animals in the Presence of the Geomagnetic Field

" Burda et al. [9] showed that the magnetic alignment of cows and deer can be disrupted near high-voltage power lines in the field. Interestingly, for power lines oriented east-west, generating AMF oriented north-south, they observed that cows aligned their bodies preferentially in an axis shifted about 90° with respect to the GMF axis. For power lines oriented north-south, generating AMF oriented east-west, cows oriented randomly." {Credits 1}
