The effect of extremely low frequency electromagnetic fields on the proliferation and differentiation of endogenous neural stem cells in rats with cerebral ischemia


It is showed that the exposure significantly increases proliferation and differentiation of neural stem cells (NSC) and the expression of Hes1, Hes5 and Notch1, so is concluded that differentiation of NSC occur via regulating the Notch signaling pathway.
