Exposed rats (21, 39 days exposure): Damaged neurons with darkly stained cytoplasms among normal pyramidal cells.

Exposed rats (60 days exposure): Decreased number of pyramidal cells and decreasaed hippocampus volume. Damaged neurons with darkly stained cytoplasms among normal pyramidal cells. Increased caspase 3 immunoreactivity.
